26/6/2008 More MPs agree to meet the Games UP? Campaign

Phil Willis MP, Nigel Evans MP and Dr Nick Palmer MP have all agreed to meet the Games UP? Campaign. The Campaign hopes to meet other MPs in the near future to outline Games UP? and its objectives. 

Ian Livingstone and Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of Tiga, will meet Phil Willis MP, the influential Chair of a Parliamentary Committee that looks into issues on innovation, skills and higher education. Livingstone and Wilson will brief the MP on the skills shortage facing the games development industry.

The Campaign Team will be meeting Nigel Evans MP. He a member of a Committee that recently looked into violent content in video games. In addition, Games UP? will be briefing Dr Nick Palmer MP and a Civil Servant whose remit is higher education and skills.
