20/6/08 MPs eager to meet games development companies
A number of MPs have already been in touch to pen in a meeting with games development companies in their area. James Plaskitt MP, a Work and Pensions Minister, will tour Blitz Games' studios, Mark Field MP will visit the SCEE London studios, and David Clelland has agreed to a visit to Ubisoft's studios in Newcastle.
Games developers up and down the country have been contacting their local MP to brief them about the Games UP? Campaign, as well as the opportunities and challenges that the industry is facing.
Twenty-five companies have agreed to write to their local MP, with more believed to be ready to sign up.
